Are you pregnant or do you have new babies? Lots of baby books in May!!

You read a lot of Jodi Picoult this year. I'm on my third novel from her this year. I really am enjoying her. =)

No, I am not pregnant yet! But my husband and I are talking about trying soon, and my doctor encouraged me to read as many baby books as I could. I may have went overboard. And I love JP- I have and have read 13 of her 16 already.

What did you think of The Memory Keeper's Daughter?

Tanja, I really liked it. I watched the movie after I read the book, and didn't love the movie. I know the book gets mixed reviews, but I thought it was pretty good.

Haha! Thanks MandySue. Unfortunately, with my husband's condition post-op, it looks like we will be waiting a while longer. He had unsuccessful spinal surgery last year and the recovery has been harder than we thought.

Sending healing vibrations for a quicker recovery for him. I'm sorry the operation didn't go so successfully. My heart goes out to you both. {{hugs}}

How was The Handmaid's Tale?

I really liked it, but I listened to it on BBCRadio audiobook, and feel like I missed a lot in translation. My library lost all the print copies in loan- so I guess that's a good sign!
