After some time, the rescue team abandons the search for Mercy and bans Truman from the site. What did you make of that decision?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments It really threw me. I couldn't make heads or tails of the entire rescue setup.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Ghattas didn't want Truman getting in their way as they searched for more explosives and bodies at the compound. I believe Ghattas thought Mercy had to be dead and buried under the snow. He didn't want Truman getting in the way.

I'm surprised Ghattas didn't tell Truman to search outside of the compound on his own (as he did). Instead he told him to go home.

This infuriated me. You don’t leave an agent in the field. I could see them taking a pause but the FBI should have launched an investigation similar to what Truman did. It was inexcusable that they abandoned the search.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I'm with you Jonetta. I yelled at Ghattas, Jeff, and Eddie at this point. Who ever heard of calling off a search even if it is snowing. I expected the FBI to pull their heads out of the sand and get their own team on the hunt, but they never did. Thank God for Truman or who know what Sean would have done.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Yep, this did seem a bit strange.. but made a great storyline for Truman to be like a knight in shining armour saving the girl.
