Find a trilogy that you can complete over the course of this year. You can also double this challenge up with another one if you would like.

Renee | 15 comments I picked the The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin Mara Dyer trilogy. Just finished the first one. This would work for authors first novel as well as female author, takes place in a high school, paranormal mystery, etc.

rayo que no cesa (rayoquenocesa) Last week I read The Ruby Red Trilogy, by Kerstin Gier. I got really addicted to the books, but at the ending I felt disappointed :(

ChikenSlo | 1 comments j'ai lu la trilogie Le destin d'une déesse. ce sont des super livres avec une intrigue très originale.

Peggy I read The Wayward Pines trilogy in succession and enjoyed them all, even the ending, which is always tricky I think. Looking forward to the TV show based on it which comes out soon I think. Hope they don't mess it up!

Jeanette Fitton | 2 comments I'm reading the Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy by Nora Roberts. Also has magic, written by a woman, set in a different country (I'm in the USA and it's set in Ireland), it's a book by an author I've never read before and one I own but never read. Do you think it's okay for one book to count for so many different aspects of the challenge?

I loved those! And I'm hopeful about the show. Previews look promising.

Stacy I thought this would be the hardest one - I mean, how many first books would I need to read to find one that was good enough for a second...and then good enough for a third? Seemed overwhelming so I decided to go with middle school trilogies because they are such fast reads. I wouldn't mind starting lots of those. Ended up using the Stranded series (mainly because of Jeff Probst's name on it!)

I can't see why not. I would (and likely will) do this myself. I've already read a few that I can fit into more than one category, so I'll be keeping a list on my computer of potential categories and just narrow it down once the year is up. And seeing as I LOVE Nora Roberts - thanks for a collection to add to my TBR! :D

Tabitha (tabithaann) I've now read the first three 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' books (at the request of my son), though there are five altogether. I've also picked up 'Cinder', the first book in the Lunar Chronicles ... and of course that one has five, too. Soooo ... I guess that doesn't count, eh? Lol.

Mary Sue I combined 2 of my favorite things to do - reading and knitting - and read the Friday Night Knitting Club series by Kate Jacobs.
