Dystopians are the most common futuristic book but sci-fi books would also work pretty well for this!

message 2: by Peggy (new)

Peggy Completed this with John Scalzi's Lock In, a sci-fi/mystery mash-up that I thoroughly enjoyed. Happy I read it.

message 3: by Mary Sue (new)

Mary Sue I read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury by Ray Bradbury for this one. I really liked it and had a great discussion about it with my husband who had read it years ago.

Stacy I love Scalzi! And I used Fahrenheit 451 for a different category.

For my future category, I read a HALO book. Like the video game. My son is a huge fan and I figured it would be neat to know the backstory. It was surprisingly well-written. I will admit that I had very, very low expectations...

I guess this is a post apocalyptic book but I really enjoyed it.
