Why is there need for salvation if there are no transformed lives? The reason were saved is to become more Christ-like, but those within the church have become too secularized to the point that one can't decipher what the church, the body of Christ, is supposed to be like. Romans 12:1 states that we should be offering our "bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God." Paul also states in verse 2 to "not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Those of us within the church need to live daily lives that are "sold out" for Jesus and not the world and all of its evil and sinful ways. Otherwise why would we need salvation? What does it truly mean? Why do so many stop at salvation but don't change their lives, the way they do things and the thoughts they think. What are your thoughts?
