Jacqueline opened her locker, mumbling about her upcoming History test.

Mitch heard the bell ring so he got up and ran to J's locker.
"Hey" Jac looked over and saw Mitch
"You ready for the mall? You remember my party, right?"
"Like Id forget." She said closing her locker and grinning.
"You forgot my last one." He reminds her. He unlocked his car and opened her door.
"I was so tired!!! and a little bit preoccupied." She said remembering how she had been in the middle of a really good movie. She got into the car.
He drove them to the mall and asked "what store first."
"Mmmmm...I want to go to Starbucks. Havent been there in a short while." She said playing with her phone
"I can do that." He said picking her up and racing her to the Starbucks in the food court.
She squealed and laughed, "Heavens, that was quick!" She put a hand on his chest to keep herself steady.
He said "your usual?" Setting her down in a seat.
"Mhmm! Cinnamon latte." She smiled and nodded, getting comfortable in her chair.
He ordered her cinnamon latte and himself a Carmel Brulée latte.
"What should I wear to the party?" She asked looking over to him. "Casual or Classy?"
"Stay classy San Diego." He tells her quoting the anchorman.
She grinned. "Alrighty. But then I need to go buy something. All of my dresses are not party style."
"I'll help you find the perfect one." He said smiling thinking about asking for her to be his date to his own party.
"i dont doubt it. So have you asked anyone yet?" She herself had been asked once, but she rejected it. She wanted Mitch to ask her.
"Um n-no I don't think I've been looking at someone to ask though."
"OH." She smiled on the inside. She was hoping that someone would be her. She couldnt help herself, she liked him. ALOT.
"Yeah. So what about you?" He asked taking a sip of his latte. He thought he had fallen in love with her in freshmen year not really knowing what love was.
"Once. But i rejected it." She said swirling her latter around. Everything about him, she loved. She wouldnt admit but she still did.
"Oh. Well why did you do that? I mean I'll probably get rejected and I won't even have time to really have fun at my own party, why should you suffer?"
"Becuz, we're best friends, smarticle. Im hanging with you." She said rolling her eyes as if this wasnt obvious.
"Well sorry I didn't think you wanted to hang out with a loser like me worrying about someone bringing drugs and his mother finding out." He tells her and takes a swig of his drink.
"I always like to hang out with you. And ill help with drug control. Im hoping nothing serious happens with a guy and a girl, if u know what i mean." She said shaking her head and finishing her drink.
"That's ok as long as it doesn't happen in a bedroom or shower." He tells her jokingly.
Her eyes widened and she gave him a pointed look. "Yeah right. Youd be the idiot freaking out while I have to clean it up."
"Nah I'd get my dads shotgun out unload it and tell them to go to their car." He tells her. "And I was joking!!"

She grinned "You would not." She teased. "And sorry, i dont normally joke on...IT."
"Well sorry I've been hanging with the guys on psn to much. We get into the weirdest stuff and get into people's minds on there."

"I can tell." She said with eyebrows raised in amusement.

She shook her head and laughed. "Thank you for that. Im not judging, im just saying." She shrugged. She quickly kissed his cheek and went to go throw out her cup.
He was in aw not knowing what to do. He got up quickly finished his latte and followed her.
