I made a fish n chips w/ vinegar with this book...you are right lots of vinegar

anyway the page numbers for the ingredients don't really make sense with the number of pages in the book...should these be loc numbers?

Can we use one book more than one time for our words such as local?

I think it's how it's set up on my phone. I double checked it but how I read the books the page numbers are off compared to what Goodreads says because my phone isn't as big as an actual kindle. I did chapter numbers for the special words but vinegar appeared 5 times in Chapter 9 so that's why I did the phone page numbers. What should I do to fix it? Change them all to Chapter 9, 11, and 13?

I finished my last book, and posted three menu items. There are a few books with 1-3 leftover ingredients if we want to do a mash up. All 100 books are now posted in our SS.

Vicki is creating menu items now, so we should review later tonight to see what we have left.

Looking over the SS, it appears that based on some others' posts that I CAN use a book multiple times for our special words (local, quality, neighborhood). I just want to make sure I can use them as many times as I can up to the number of foods I can use (ie. 4 food = 4 words; 8 foods = 8 words) as long as I have that many locations/pages, right?

I just don't want to screw up anything and make extra work for anybody!

one special word per menu item
The special word is tied with an ingredient from the same book as the ingredient.

There are only a few books left that don't have special words in them...the key there is to use a book for at least one of the ingredients that does vs trying to make the recipe all from that one book. Takes a bit extra time, but doable.

I started a few recipes earlier...not sure, but those could be finished up with whatever.

So I just looked at the SS.
None of the meals Jenny made have special words with them. Catching the Wind provides one of the ingredients, so go ahead and add one of the special words found in Catching the wind next to vinegar of lemon

Catching the Wind needs to be listing within one of the 100 books...so if it's replacing a book, it needs to be moved to that spot and then cut/paste to your recipes from that spot.

We only get 100 books.

If needed you can move it to where my American Dirt book is. I don't have to finish that tonight if you need a spot for it.

ONLY use ingredients from books that are in one of those 100 spots.

I see spot 77 is still blank

You can also move your Cherry book to my American Dirt book spot if you want #91...I haven't finished yet.

We should really have at least 260 menu items and if we can, more. They provided 300 spots and every round has had at least the number of spots for customers...each round we've requested more :)

Right now we have 221 as we can count our 9 carry over items.

I used the special word from each of those books already. Can we use it again in another menu item? I can search those books to find if there are multiple instances of local, quality or neighborhood.

ETA: I updated the local and quality words for these menu items:

- Meal 87 - chocolate cake (The Leopard) - quality
- Meal 88 - red wine (The Leopard) - local
- Meal 89 - whiskey on ice (The Leopard) - quality

Now all the meals with books I read have special words.

I think we're good because someone (I think) removed a book from line 250, so we have an extra spot I believe. I'll not mess with any of mine and move one just yet but if I need to I certainly can.

I don't know if we have enough ingredients left even after I add my last two books to make 40 more meals. I'm adding these ingredients and then I'll come back later to check.

The reason so many recipies have special words is because I went back and looked up for lots and lots a few days ago as our goal was to have a special word in as many recipes as we can...again see past posts.

Lets just make as many meals as we can...no big deal. We had a few books that still didn't have ingredients posted...so hopefully those are done. I can try and look up but it will be late. Still working and have to work again tomorrow close to our deadline.

At this point, like the last round...just use whatever is available.

Okay I'll look in my books for the recipes that don't have special words to see if I can find extras.

I'm going through the books we read and making recipes. I'm up to 232 recipes.

I also moved Vicki's two books below the line to 77 and America Dirt, so we have our 100 books total.

ETA: We only have 11 ingredients left to use so I'll try to make the most of them.

Okay we used all the ingredients and came up with 236 menu orders. Hopefully that's enough and we have the right mix for our customers!!

If anyone wants to look at the menu orders to see if they can come up with more creative titles, feel free - you have 20 words you can use in the menu description

Sounds great...I think customers arrive this evening at some point. We have 48 hours to serve them...so a bit of time. Allocating the higher point meals (fresh) first is best, but we'll likely need all we have so it's probably not a big deal.

You're welcome. I made names for all the menu items, and discovered that one of our meals was missing an ingredient. I sacrificed a dessert to fix it so we only have 235 meals.
