Hi everyone.. This discussion thread is created for the buddy read session of the Six of Crows duology.. As of now, the buddies are Lara, Nele and myself.. Anyone who is interested can join in..

I would like to suggest 19th of September to start reading..

yes i started reading this morning. but i havent readed the books Before Six of Crowns is that going to be a Problem or not?

It should not be, a very close friend of mine read SOC first.. He didn't find any difficulty in doing that. I read SaB series back in July and I think the universe is same and the books are related but not that you would miss something if you hadn't read the previous books before.

@Sehrish.. It will be a pleasure having you around.. I plan to start later in the evening.. @Nele how is going? How far did you read?

i have read till page 18 or something and then i went shopping :)

I finished chapter 2..I'm kinda finding it difficult to keep up with so many names, places, gangs... what about you guys?

yeah it's kind of confusing to start with, but i assume everything gets explained in another chapter

so I am in the last chapter of part 1.. which I plan to finish tonight.. first 2 chapters were little confusing with lot of characters and two much going around.. but now I am getting the grip of it..

I finished chapter 3 and the only reaction I have is SO MANY CHARACTERS.. is it just me or is anyone else finding it difficult to follow?

i readed the first 20 pages and it was indeed a lil bit hard

I too have finished part 1.. and currently in chapter 8.. so not much progress..

@sehrish I totally relate.. that was my main issue with part 1...
