How did the pandemic affect your writing? A lot of authors say they are introverts anyway. Was that a case for you?
Which one of your characters surprised you the most while writing her or him?

Which couple from Sea Breeze was your favorite?
What is the most surprising thing you've found about being an author?
What is an interesting writing quirk that you have?

YES! In Game Changer the whole gang is back for the summer and you get to see them together in Asa's book.

It slowed BIG TIME. With my kids home all the time it was very hard to write. I am back at it again and feeling good.

This will probably always be Nan in the Rosemary Beach Series.

Thank you for reading my books!

I think Krit and Blythe but that's a hard call to make.

That people like to read what I write. LOL! I started writing to entertain me. I never imagined others would be entertained as well.

Oh and most interesting writing quirk is probably that I talk out loud to characters in my head to figure out what they are going to do next.

P.S: Love all your works! <3

Or just answering here what her dream/passion is kkkkkk
Idk If I can ask more than one question but here it goes anyway. What is Rush's job?
Thanks and I'm sorry for such a long question.

Love your books!!!

My plan had been for it to release in October. Then Covid-19 hit and everything changed I barely got time to write with no one to help take care of Emerson. I am now hoping for a February release.

Write daily. Even if you think it sucks- write. Writing is like a muscle and it strengthens with use. If you get stuck then delete until you're no longer bored and go in a different direction. If you get stuck you are bored. If you are bored the reader will be too.

Well... I began writing YA. My first book was YA. Then everyone wanted a book about a character in my YA book that was older. He was 20 and that wasn't really YA. I didn't know what it was. There was no New Adult at the time. I just assumed it was contemporary romance. I began and the Sea Breeze series grew. Getting steamier and the characters getting older. I was in the beginning of the New Adult era. I didn't decide to write it, it just evolved for me.

It's been insane. We are thankful that we've been able to see each other but remain constant in being safe. I've had many relatives contract Covid-19 and we have been lucky enough for them to beat it. I am hoping 2021 is better. No fires, Covid-19 controlled, and most importantly equality among everyone. Awareness that should have been changed a long time ago.

Thank you!! LOL! I completely forgot this. Once I get my two deadlines finished I will write that scene and release during the holidays this year. Thanks for the reminder!

Right now I can't promise anything on future books on that series. Simply because the storyline has to hit me and I have to want to write it. Anything forced usually sucks.
As for Rush, he was a rockstar's son and I don't think he needed a job. I like to think he matured and got one but I don't think I ever mentioned it. Maybe that will be mentioned in future books :)

I think in a couple years I will do another YA series. Something set in New England maybe.

Eventually I know one of the storylines will come to me in the Sea Breeze meets Rosemary Beach series.
As for Vincent Brother's I think that series is done. I never really know. If a storyline comes to me then I write it. That could still happen.

Racism, especially in the south, is hard to cover in my books. If you aren't from the south and you've never witnessed it then you may not understand it when I write it. (I am aware racism is everywhere. I hate it. I just know that where I grew up compared to where I live now in New England it is very different.)
I am a reader and I read ALL KINDS of books. So yes it differs. Unless an author in my genre asks me to read their book then I rarely pick up that genre. I tend to read historical fiction the majority of the time Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorites.

Yes. They will get a book... eventually.

P.S: Love all your works! <3"
The pandemic has slowed down my writing. While being stuck at home should help... I have had a 3 year old stuck with me. However, she is back in preschool (one that is outdoors) and my writing has picked back up. I am finishing up two books that are long overdue to the publisher then I am going to work on Cursed Souls. Hoping for a February release.

I’m really excited for the next one and I know you lost your inspiration with it but I just wanted to know if it’s shelved permanently or just on the back burner for a bit?

Hope you and yours are all safe and well? It’s been a truly shi¥¥y year. Books have kept me sane. My question to you is.....Do you have a review team? Advanced reader or audio. If not, have you ever considered it? And you know what’s coming next...do you need new members? 🥰

Thank you for reading my books!
About Tomorrow... is set in New England for starters. The heroine is from the south though. It is a new adult novel and a contemporary romance. This one is heavier on the angst than the past few have been. :)

The ones that get books will be the ones that come to me. If their story starts talking to me then I will write it.

I will write the next book in this series. I just haven't felt the story yet. It will come. I promise. I love this series.

I have close friends who are also writers that I send my manuscript to for their opinion. My editor also gives me advice on the storyline. I don't necessarily have a team.

What are you currently working on?"
I am currently finishing up About Tomorrow...
and working on rewrites for Game Changer

Hermione Granger - because I want to live at Hogwarts and be a bad ass witch.

I have a headcannon(I hope its okay) that Ophelia is an amazing singer, but since she doesn't like to be the center of attention not a lot of people know that.

Dean is the drummer for Slacker Demon. Rush sings and plays the guitar in the song he wrote for Blaire. As for the kids that's to be determined :)

That my characters can take over a storyline. I can outline it and have a plan but while I am writing a character that isn't the main one can take over a book. Cage for example in Because of Low did it and I had to go back and fix a lot of it before I published it. Dank in the Existence series was actually a side character in a book I never published. He took over the story so I stopped and just gave him his own book instead.
