This month we will be reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

I am so excited to re-read this!

I loved this book! It was only a few months ago when I read this so I won't be taking part in this group read but I hope you all enjoy it. If you like Erin Morgenstern, you might also want to check out Flax-Golden Tales which is a collection of very short stories available for free online.

I don't read fantasies very often but I am excited to give this book a try! Just waiting for the book to become available at my library!!

I've never read this book, but it sounds (okay, looks....I haven't read the splurge yet...) interesting! I'm trying to get more into these group reads as I've been looking for a book club of sorts to join. Very excited to be reading along with all of you guys!

Yay! I will continue The Starless Sea with everyone in October! It’s a very beautiful read so far.

I loved this book, but it was a recent read. I'm reading Piranesi instead, it has a very similar atmosphere.

I might try to join in on this one. I've had the book since last Christmas and absolutely loved The Night Circus. Hopefully I can find time to join in on this read :).

This has been in my currently reading list for awhile. This is a great excuse to finish reading. Love what I have read so far.

Very excited to read this! I bought it awhile ago and its been sitting on my shelf ever since. I loved The Night Circus so hopefully this will be as good :)

I have decided to try and get in on this one - have a lot going but really did love other books by her so gonna give it a shot. To make it easier with other things going on have gotten the audio version

I have never read anything from Erin Morgenstern, so it will be something new and hopefully interesting :)

I loved The Night Circus, so I'm looking forward to reading The Starless Sea (one of my selections for the "An Enchanted World" Challenge 😉)

I too have already read The Starless Sea in May 2020 and enjoyed it! I gave it 4 stars!

I also have read The Night Circus and really liked it too and it gained a 4 star rating from me as well!

I've been looking for a reason to read this!

I was so glad to hear this was the book for this month! I’ve been meaning to fully read this since well basically since before it even came out. I had the book as a speed loan from the library when it came out but didn’t get enough time to finish it. I loved what I had gotten the chance to read. I ended up buying the book & have had it for months without getting the chance to pick it up. Happy to be reading it with all you reading buddies. Can’t wait to enjoy<3

I only joined this group because I saw you're all reading The Starless Sea this month.

I loved this book so much, I couldn't even write a review for it. I want to reread it again, but this month is a bit too soon I think.

(Also The Night Circus is really great if you like this book).

I totally feel you! I had no idea what to write in my review and it ended up being so short lol it's so hard to describe other than I loved it.

So glad to finally be apart of a group read! I have issues finding an audiobook of the group read, so when I checked my library today and found it not only in audiobook but available to check out immediately I was overjoyed! Finishing up my current read right now then will be starting!

I'm a little over a quarter into the book. So glad I decided to read and listen. The audiobook is SO GOOD!!

Yes I agree, I also listened to the audiobook. Loved how there were multiple narrators

Same! I just checked it out as an audiobook. People have been recommending Erin Morgenstern to me for forever, so I'm excited to finally get the chance to read one of her books. I've checked out The Night Circus twice but let the loan expire both times before getting a chance to start haha. But this time, I'm committed!

I would like to withdraw to join the next month's book reading. Audiobooks are working better for me and that book is not available yet .

That's understandable :) We don't sign up for group reads so when one comes along you want to participate in you can just jump into the discussions any time!

I just joined goodreads today and this is my first ever try at virtual boookclubs. I‘m really excited! And very curious about The Starless Sea. Let the fun begin.
