Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 5341 comments So the first cover shows many things. If I find a book with stars on it, that would work? And if I find a book with an animal but not the same animal, would that work or would it need to be the same animal?

It depends what you want to guess. If you want to guess "animal" you can but I can tell you that no answers are animal. They will be the exact animal. So you'll need to find a cover, author name/title, or in text the exact animal you want to guess.

☘Misericordia☘ ⚡ϟ⚡⛈⚡☁ ❇️❤❣ (misericordia) | 711 comments A couple of Qs (probably dumb ones):
- 1 book is fot for only 1 guess, right? If you guess wrong, this book cannot be used for guessing anything else, this week or any other week right?

- if I enter, say, 10 books with various guesses and the 3d of them is right, the 1st 2 are wrong and the last 7 are also wrong but I've guessed on the 3d book. Would all 10 books be used or would any of the rest be usable for other guesses?

You will only be able to use a book twice ( for guessing not points) if a guess is correct before your posted book. So if you post a book after a teammate but that teammate guessed right you'll get the points and have to change your guess.

By guessing a correct item, yes. Every correct guess is 10 bonus points.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 5341 comments Can you use a previously read book to make guesses for a current book, kind of like a banked book as long as it was read during the dates of the challenge?

Any book that you've read since October 1st can be used for this challenge. As long as you haven't already used it for the current Quarterly.

message 16: by Tayane (new)

Tayane Cristie (taycristie) Does words within words count for guessing? For exemple, if I want to guess the word "arrow", but I can only find words like "narrow" in text, could I use the "arrow" inside it? (hahaha it sounds weird, but it's a genuine question xD)

Unfortunately it does not count.
