So you can join any BR that's already made for October, click HERE.
You can also see if anyone wants to read the same books as you (in any month) or see what people want to read on 'Let's buddy up - requests'. Click HERE.
Or you can say what books you plan or want to read for a challenge on any of your teams chats.

If you want to read a book with someone that hasn't been made into a BR, you would then go to 'Let's buddy! - thread requests' and say what book you want to read, with who, and what day.

Wow! So there are ways to get extra BRs running, if there's a crowd ;) Thanks)

☘Misericordia☘ ⚡ϟ⚡⛈⚡☁ ❇️❤❣ (misericordia) | 711 comments Hey, a quick question: if I read a book, say, on 2 Oct, bank it, and, I dunno, say on 2 Nov this book suddenly fits - will I be able to use it or would I have to reread it or smth?

For quarterlies any book read and reviewed for oct 1st to dec 31st is good.

☘Misericordia☘ ⚡ϟ⚡⛈⚡☁ ❇️❤❣ (misericordia) | 711 comments Alaina wrote: "From not for" Okay, cool! I like this approach since I do a lot of fluke reads and strategising the timing can get even the most phenomenal books postponed indefinitely.

Felicia | 15003 comments Hello all! :D

Your first book to search for objects on is The Night Country (The Hazel Wood, #2) by Melissa Albert .

The objects you will find are from this exact cover. No other edition.

Also, there will be times when you won't get it exactly right. Like for example the thing to find is "shoe" and you put "shoes". At times like these I will give you the find anyways.

However, there are some objects you need to find where it is an exact word. For example, you might guess flower on a book cover when the word might be daisy. At a point like this I will tell you that you're close but not exact. Then you can find another book to guess the right word.

I'll do my best to judge guesses and give the best answer. :D

The girl could also be a silhouette.

Here's the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

I added a few of the books I'm going to read this week

message 46: by [deleted user] (last edited Oct 01, 2020 10:39AM) (new)

I guess I'm a little confused. I thought we posted to the SS as we begin (CR) or have finished a book because once a guess ends up being correct, then another item from the same cover is selected and we start all over again. Should we just go ahead post every books we have planned that work for any possible items that haven't been claimed yet?

Wow, and here at 1st glance I thought it was a weirdly shaped ring :)))))))))))

message 48: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 3912 comments lol yeah I was surprised to see so many things when I looked at the cover. I never paid much attention to it before

message 49: by Kelly (new)

Kelly | 3912 comments Cyndee I'm not sure what your question is. I wrote the books I'm sure I'm going to finish in the next few days and they all work for at least one object. Even if a guess is correct I'll use the rest of the books for the next round on that same cover. Yes I think it would be best for us to claim different objects.

☘Misericordia☘ ⚡ϟ⚡⛈⚡☁ ❇️❤❣ (misericordia) | 711 comments On the 2nd glance:
some sort of seal (on that envelope),
maybe some sort of satellite circling the moon,
crescent,
some sort of water/river/lake/swamp (from which the hand's sticking out),
tea/coffee/some other beverage in that cup,
light/shining/rays (from both doorways),
ivy/vine (or whatever that plant/branch looks like?),
saucer,
stardust?,
wood,
grass,
window(s),
roof,
walls,
comet?,
maybe we should not discount the round or ring - the general shape of all of that mess)

Question: if a book contains 2 things and I've tryed guessing 1, and did not guess, is the book forfeit or can it be used for other guesses until some guess sticks?

Also, if a book contains 10 possible fitting things, do I have to choose just one? Or can I try guessing them all?

If I used a book to guess something (a shoe?), can this same book be used at the next round?
