Rogue One, directed by Gareth Edwards, is a story in the Star Wars series. It takes place sometime after Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The story begins with former scientist Galen Erso living on a farm with his wife and daughter, Jyn. Galen is taken by the Empire to become the lead engineer and create the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the Death Star.
In this movie, we follow Jyn Erso, Galen's daughter, who joins forces with Resistance fighters (the Empire's enemies), and plan to steal the plans to prevent mass destruction.
Personally, Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie. I really like the story and the ending was great in my opinion. I recommend watching it, even if you don't enjoy Star Wars.
