Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 566 comments How was New York 2140? I have read his Mars trilogy, and found the books amazing but somewhat hard going. But the descriptions were so vivid that when the Mars Rover images came in a few years back, I automatically thought "No no, that's wrong. There's supposed to be polar ice there." lol

I've not finished it yet (about 30 minutes to go in the audio version) - I've found it really interesting but also a bit long...

Julie | 147 comments Oh well. Family visits for a week made this unaccomplishable for me... I still have more than half of Wives and Daughters left to finish. Ending at 14/15

I think I will leave the rest of that book till after the readathon, and read other books for the readathon...
