The levels are great, as feel gives everyone a chance to take part/achieve goal as can pick your own pace. Whether looking for easy or difficult theres an option for all types of readers 😊
In terms of ideas im not sure at the moment, maybe some movie themes or tv could be entertaining? Or relating to tropes/themes in books?

Levels are great too! It's a way to not feel intimidated by people that read 150+ books a year haha
A crazy idea that I had now (?) is a "choose your path" challenge? Like with a set of prompts to read and choose a path? I loved one challenge from another group of "making your tea" and you have to pick the temperature, tea, etc and make your own tea with different prompts.
I'd rather stay only on goodreads to just stay in one social media and stop procastinating more

Levels work well for me as I work full time and am a slower reader at times (dyslexic).

I'm also really glad we're doing Summer Days and Winter Wars, which will actually allow some time to breathe. I felt like this year, with only September "off" in between Summer Days and Fright Nights, it was a little overwhelming. It may be worth coming up with a spring theme so we can alternate doing a spring and fall one year, then summer and winter the next year so it's a bit more spread out.

I like the prompts that allow me to not have to search so hard for a book. So prompts like the color of a book, the genre of a book, or reading diversely are great. Something super specific like the lost princess one for this years Tackle that TBR I don’t enjoy that much, especially for challenges that are meant to target my TBR pile just because I would prefer to not have to search outside my TBR for a book 😅
I’m on the fence about the idea of using other social media platforms for challenges. I need a little more information of what that would be like.
As for the different levels I really appreciated them! It allows for people to read at their own pace. I also agree with Katie about only doing two team challenges a year and alternating seasons. Having a little more than a two month break between them would allow for more time to recover before the next challenge.
This was my first year with the group and I loved all the challenges you guys put together! I’m excited to see what you guys come up with next year!
Why haven't I seen this sooner? 😃 Good thing I saw Raquel wrote something in a 2021 challenges thread
I haven't participated in other games except the Team challenges and the Tackle your tbr (still have to do 2, I think, to finish the challenge 😅), but I'm loving those. And I like Katie's idea to make them Spring-Fall and Summer-Winter games, this way I think there could be more ideas for prompts (I don't know what prompts exactly because my brain screams "set in spring" and then it refuses to have some other idea).
I like Bopeep's idea of path reads 😃 I'm actually really interested in that, the tea one sounds fun. Now when I think of paths, I can't stop imagining it like a board game type; you have to pick between this and that, this brings you to read book that has something-something while that brings you to read something else. Raquel's idea of a World Wide Read is good too, one that could do good for me because I tend to read mostly US authors 🙈 and I would like to expand.
The color, genre tasks are great, because you can mostly find something for it on your tbr, and as a book community we know to get a bit crazy with our tbr and then complain how there are so many books 😅 And the diverse characters/authors, #ownvoices taks are great becase it pushes you a bit out of your comfort zone, at least that's the case with me.
The level games are good because people can read how much they want and finish a level, and not feel bad if they can't read as much as some others.

I think I know how we could do a choose your own adventure, make your tea and a board game challenge.
And I do agree that Summer/Fall games with only one month break was...not ideal (for you all or me lol). Next year we'll do Summer/Winter, and then alternate to Spring/Fall. Maybe Spring Fling (hehe Mean Girls)/Fright Night?
For 2021's Tackle That TBR, I'm thinking that levels might have more options, like "All books must be published in 2021" or "All books published before 2021" to get folks to look that backlist.

Based on everyone's comments, it's looking like 2021's theme is going to be Choose Your Story.
Quarter 1's challenge is Drink Your Tea, which will be something similar to Bopeep's idea.
Quarter 2's challenge will be It's All a Game, which is either going to be a choose your own adventure or board-game style, depending on how much time I spend thinking on it.
Quarter 3: ???? Something simple because...Summer Days
Quarter 4: Catch-Up Bingo, as always :)
Tackle That TBR Vol 4 will have a similar theme with levels! There will be lots of prompts on colors, genres and diverse prompts.
Uuu, I like the "All books published before 2021" I definitely have those 😂 I'm not that confident in the 2021 books but that will be fun too.
As for Q3 what about an Alphabet read? You pick up a couple of numbers=letters and we have to read a book by that letter, or we have a word and have to find books for every letter in that word.

I like that option for Q3! Thank you :)

Everything sounds great for next year. Mixing different social media platforms would make it harder for me to keep up I think. (waste more time).
Blind dates sound fun too!! Looking forward to next years reading already!!

The blind dates are super fun! You should definitely try them out!

Also, the "read only 2021 books" would be so nice for me as long as I'm suscribed to some boxes but I don't read the books hahaha
And I'm glad that you liked the drink your tea idea! It's nice to help somehow! ^__^

Thank you for your ideas! I really appreciate them :)

We interchange between Winter Wars and Fright Night each year! So it's definitely not gone. It just means that next year is when we'll be doing Fright Night but not Winter Wars :)
The months are just too close together for us to host both every year 😅

That's what I was hoping! Winter Wars makes more sense next to Summer Days, but Fright Night is just so much fun. 😁
