Okay! First thing first: thank you for checking this topic! Please try and keep up-to-date with what's posted here as it will likely be important!
Now I created this topic because I wanted just wanted to keep you all up to date with a couple of things and let you know what I've been doing!
So!
1) I cleaned out the Create Your Own KOTLC Character thread! This means I deleted all of the irrelevant posts that weren't character sheets! (Unless they contained important information!) Which means that we are now down to two pages. (There were just about four pages worth of chatting comments, if that says anything.)
2) I cleaned out multiple threads with arguments in them!
It was quite a lot of comments, so a quick reminder that one of the most important rules here is "Be kind" (It's the first rule.)
3) I finished the character tracker! Want to see it? Head on over here! Don't see your character in there? Let me know! I'll fix it!
4) If you lost a thread, or find your number of comments have decreased severely, that is because of my having deleted the arguments.
5) If one of your characters was not included, and you have deleted your account before, try and find them, or recreate them!
I think this was all? But have fun everyone! And keep on rping! (And chatting too!)

As you may have already seen, we've made a few changes to the group. Please check the Rules and this post of the Character Creation thread for the new rules and new template, respectively.
Members will now be expected to hold by the new rules, and violation of them will be noted by the moderators. Depending on the severity and/or quantity of the violation, you can receive anything from a warning from the mods, to removal from the group. We have also decided to use a system in which you get two warnings before you're kicked.
Characters now must be made using the template provided in the link above, or one of equal detail. The old, short template will no longer be in use. Characters must also be approved by mods before you use them in roleplay.
We also have a new mod, Lunar, to help us in getting the group active again!
And on that note, if you can, please try to be active, read the new rules, make some characters, and if you're able, invite some people you know!
If you have any ideas or suggestions for the group, feel free to pm one of the mods! Me and my fellow mods have an idea for an event so that will be coming up soon, a pm will be sent out for that!

As of tomorrow, [June 3rd], I will not be very active. I'm very sorry. I am going to miss all of you so much! Any RPs with my characters will be on hold, as I do not want people RPing my OC's. Sorry guys. Love y'all so much! I look forward to being online again in September!

A big hello to all of our members, old and new! I'm happy to announce that us mods have been working hard to try and bring this group back to be better than before! We've been archiving topics, (and will soon be creating new ones to replace them!) Plus, we even have a special event in the works! House topics belonging to inactive users or users who have left the group have been archived, but please contact us if you think there's been a mistake.
Mods you can contact as of now → Mugs and Lunar.
Things that have changed so far!
- User powers are no longer a thing. We will only be working with canon powers from now on, due to the amount of conflict that those powers created.
- Us mods have decided on a two power limit. Characters with 3+ powers will no longer be allowed, for the same reason as the ban on user-created powers.
- We've archived the old events topic and the old mod chat
- House topics belonging to inactive users and users who have left the groups or deleted their account have all been archived
- Two new topics have been created - Questions And Suggestions and a Topic Request so that you can help us improve the group!
Make sure to stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to start up your own roleplays or discussions in the group in the meantime!

Hello all. This is your mod Lunar here with some announcements. Usually our lovely Mugs would make an announcement, however they have left Goodreads on a hiatus sadly. So here I am. Read below for important things! Thank you in advance~
First off- Mod Applications! I need help in this group, as all 3 of my fellow mods have left Goodreads indefinitely. There haven't been any applications filled out. }{or maybe there have been and I'm blind?}{ Either way, please fill it out if you are interested!
Secondly- Revamping. I am definitely able to revamp this group. However, I do not wish for my efforts to go unused. I would love to see more activity, especially after a new book dropped! Years ago when I first joined this group, it was always active every second, and my notifications were having a heart attack on a daily basis. How I would love to see that again! So please, if you are no longer interested in being here and being active, leave or just drop a comment that says "I am not able to be active here" or something along those lines. I'll set up a poll soon on opinions for revamps.
Third- New things! What would we like to see added to this group? Just leave a suggestion or PM me! I would love to entertain all ideas.

Hello all! Quick announcement here-
Character list has been updated and the creation topic has been cleared of everything except profiles. Try not to chat so much in there!
Also I have talked to our lovely mod Mugs, and they will not be returning. I am now your head mod and will be running this group solo until another mod returns or I pick one.
