A "Feel Good" pick me up that I needed. Montgomery writes about her life as a naturalist/researcher. There are whimsical illustrations through-out , with each chapter mainly concentrating on one species/pet that she encountered. As in anyone's life, there are heartbreaks, but the pure joy she shares about the animals is worth a sniffle or two.
