Anne of Windy Poplars question

I also had a hard time reading this book... Maybe its because its letters, or maybe because a lot of the characters from previous books are barley even mentioned.

The series really takes a dive after the first three books. I still haven't finished the series...

I finished the series, but Windy Poplars was definitely not my favorite. I'm not a big fan of letter writing as a format for a novel.
