Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

We are halfway through the readathon! How are you doing? Are you happy with your progress so far?  Let's celebrate by having another 60 minute reading sprint!

I will be reading for this reading sprint. Starting on page 1 so we will see how far I get

I just started The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, only four pages in so far. So I'll be trying to read as much as I can of that one during this sprint.

I'm in and hoping to finally make progress on my book!

Continuing with Yes No Maybe So for this sprint and making some delicious frozen pizza for dinner.

Update: Read about 60 pages. Out of frozen pizza, so I went with pancakes!

I'm almost finished with The Plague. Not overall happy with my progress due to things getting in the way of reading, like sleeping in this morning, nap, hair appt.

Been hopping between 4 longer books so haven’t finished anything yet but still having fun! Adding a 5th for this sprint —Space Invaders by Nona Fernandez— that I hope to do in one go (it’s only 70 pages).

Got a good chunk of The Selection done about 70 pages this sprint. Have about another 70 to go.

I was able to read 44 pages of Theodore The Neighbour's Cat: The Novel. I have about 50 pages left so now I'm planning on finishing it tonight.

finished Season of Mists, listened to The house of pomegranates for 25 minutes

45 pages in The Sellout

I'll join in for awhile! I'm going to continue reading Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli & Aisha Saeed, and I'm going to continue re-reading The Rule-Breaker's Guide To Social Media by Damian Keyes.

is it just me or did the hour 20 reading sprint thread disappear?

Including an audiobook of David Mitchell’s Cloud Atlas I’ve been reading for twelve straight hours and still going. Currently reading Where the Crawdads Sing. Have finished August Wilson’s Fences and American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang. Great reading day!

I wasn't paying attention to time! 😳 Only 84 pages in about 2 hours, so probably 42ish pages during the sprint.

Oops I fell asleep. But I got 30 pages in to The Haunting of Hill House before going to bed.
