YAY! We are all checked in! Looks like a fun and unique challenge, right? I am excited, but it's so hard to believe that 2020 is almost over and might I add...THANK GOD!

I'm excited for some challenges that I get to make for next year!

The rounds will be pretty fast, so I thought I'd put the dates here for us:

Game 1:
Round 1 - Starts November 1st, Ends November 5th.
Round 2 - Starts November 6th, Ends November 10th.
Round 3 - Starts November 11th, Ends November 15th.
Round 4 - Starts November 16th, Ends November 20th.

Game 1: Poppy Flowers

🗿 Olmec: Poppy Flowers, also known as Vase and Flowers and Vase with Viscaria, is a painting by Vincent Van Gogh with an estimated value of US $50 millions to $55 million. It was stolen from Cairo’s Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum in August 2010 and is yet to be found.

Egyptian officials erroneously believed they had recovered the painting only hours after its theft when two Italian suspects attempted to board a plane to Italy at Cairo International Airport. The same painting had been stolen from the same museum on June 4, 1977, and was recovered ten years later in Kuwait.

The painting is small, measuring 65 x 54 cm and depicts yellow and red poppy flowers. It is believed that Van Gogh painted it in 1887, three years before his suicide. The painting, which is of a vase and yellow and red poppies, contrasted against a dark ground is a reflection of Van Gogh’s deep admiration for Adolphe Monticelli, an older painter whose work influenced him when he first saw it in Paris in 1886.

I am a grandma of 21 full blood grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. All I did was have 5 kids and they took it from there. LOL

I read so many books and don't review until the end of the month many times. I am stressing right now to get my reviews done and then one of my daughters called me and asked me to watch 2 of my grandkids (2 1/2 and 8 months) so that ended up taking up 5 1/2 hours of my time so wish me well everyone!

I know all about putting off writing reviews. It's something I do way too often. After working this past week to catch up so I wouldn't be behind when the challenge starts, I'm down to my last one left to write and I'm determined to finish it before I go to bed.

Haha yes I feel the pain of leaving off reviews all the time every month.

I try to write the reviews as soon as I can after I finish a book, ortherwise it would a pain remembering to come back to it and write. I don't really write full reviews, so it's easier I guess.

I managed to catch up with all my reviews today, finally! I wrote 7 today...I thought I was never going to end!

Been there, done that. Seems to happen to me all the time once the end of the month gets closer and closer.

Congrats, Cynthia! I got most of mine for October done but not all. I'm definitely staying on top of my November books' reviews so help me! lol

I wasn't going to add the novella I had to read for another challenge, but then I figured half a point is still half a point.
