Jill (jillbrock) | 77 comments Hello all,
I would love some suggestions for a cozy mystery book I just finished. It is the second in a series. The first book was called The Thursday Night Killers Book Club. The series is set in New York City. I've gone through several titles and nothing has clicked. Hope you can help.

Here is a brief summary of the 2nd book

As a member of her Thursday Night Book Club, Jerri Reardon never expected to find a body in a trunk of a car. Nor did she expect to fall into a twenty-year old mystery. Yet there she was, standing in Duca’s Auto shop in Brooklyn, looking at a dead body. She like to walk away, but there is a connection between the dead man and a club member. She like to think about the next book selection instead of trying to figure out why a retired parole officer has a screwdriver sticking out of his neck.
The first time the book club got involved with a murder, it was a fluke. Now book club members, Jerri, Cece and Sabrina have another killer’s attention and they can’t ignore it. Before Jerri knows it, she’s enlisted her co-workers in a makeshift investigating unit trying to find clues to a series of robberies and missing parolees. While Jerri follows the clues to a murderer, she realizes that someone is following her.

Thanks so much

For a series, you always need a clear name of your series, then a consistent branded name for your titles.

What's your series name?

Jill (jillbrock) | 77 comments The Thursday Night Killers Book Club or the Killers Book Club. Since this is the second book, I'm pretty flexible.

Alex Norton (alexnorton) | 4 comments I'm thinking there should be some kind of pun utilizing "Auto Body"...

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 790 comments Here's a few to consider:

Murder of the Month

Books, Blood & Bodies

Thursday's Are For Murder

Thursday Night, Mystery Fright

Bookmarked For Death

Wanjiru Warama (wanjiruwarama) | 220 comments I like what Justin has offered above.
I'm writing a series of four books and it's taken me a year to come up with all four titles, plus one common theme. I didn't trust myself to come up with titles as I go.

Ann Wright | 88 comments How about The Thursday Night Killers Detective Agency?
Then you could keep The Thursday Night Killers in every subsequent title and just keep changing the last two words accordingly. It lets people know they're getting a story about the same group of people.

"Thursday Night's Alright for:
Murder,
Death,
Fighting,
Reading

Pick your verb (but I like Murder).

I see where you're going with this LOL. Very typical cozy mystery pun title.

I'm inching very close to Bookmarked for Death and Murder of the Month. Since the protagonists are from book club, it plays into it.
