This is a hodge-podge of Willie Nelson's musings, interspersed with the lyrics of some of his songs. Family members contributed short essays about Willie as well. It was amusing and interesting, but I'm not a country music fan so I guess I'm not the right person to appreciate this book properly. I'm not familiar with most of his music, only a few songs, but his lyrics are beautiful poetry.

Although I have never been much of a country music fan, I've been enjoying the country "oldies" in recent years (Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson). I thought the book was kind of sweet and entertaining.
I didn't care for this one as much as I'd hoped I would.
