We made it! We’ve got past 1984, the millennium doom mongers, and I hope you’ve avoided the virus too. 2021 might be the year for ‘all systems go’. I’m hoping for bags of energy. I’m off to a good start, I’ve published my January blog post on the first day of the month!
Here it is:
Pedalling to Pluto

I hope you take a look (it's short and sweet!) and say hello and happy New Year to some of our Goodreads’ Friends. (Yes, I give them capital letters.)
My best wishes to all readers, writers, illustrators and anyone else who’s passing through.
Thanks Anna, and a Happy New Year to you and yours as well :) Take good care over there and stay safe :)

You're so right. The conversations we've had with friends and family, whether us going to them or vice versa have all been put back from 21 to 22. Here in the UK it's touch and go whether we get vaccinated by the summer and therefore we need to add a couple of months for everything to get held up and then the whole country will be booking flights! We can wait. Sigh.

I think E.T's flight on the bike has taken up residence in my mind.

Yes, and no one wants to risk it too soon - it doesn't bear thinking about what could happen!

Feel good factor? Want some? Do a quick flick over to the blog:

And please go ahead and add your ideas, the world needs you!
And to thank you, there’s a bargain at the bottom of the page:

It's a feel good book designed to bring a smile to your face and it's an escape route - a world away from all that's happening now.
It’s free on Kindle Unlimited or for a short time it's only 0.99 if you have access to Kindle Countdown Deals, or nothing at all if you don't want either of those options! Decisions, decisions..

The above link takes you to my blog with its usual sage saying, jolly joke, handy hint and bargain book and a little tale of a super cool James Bond.
Any writers struggling with finding a title for their book might want to know what “The Sea Cook” became.
For readers: This month’s bargain is

If you have access to the UK or US site - From 31st March for 7 days, 0.99 US and UK. The choices we make determine our futures. A romantic thriller mystery. If you like Poldark, you’ll probably love this too. And, of course it’s free if you’re a member of Kindle Unlimited.

Please rescue it - the hero’s having a hard time, they’re all out to get him and the heroine’s 12,000 miles away and being kept in the dark. Only you can save them from oblivion.

Immortality: This is Probably a Novel. You are invited into a mystery: intriguing, exciting, deadly.
0.99 in the UK and US until 5th May 2021 (that's if you have access to .com.) Free on Kindle Unlimited.
Can you guess which of Dickens’ books were flops? Take a look at my blog post for May:

And you might also like to take a look at best selling author Josh Grant’s youtube video which tells you more, and you get to see a waffling woman too. He bills it as ‘the least professional talk show on the Internet’. I’ve already been told it’s funny - not quite what I was aiming for :)
