EVERYONE Has Read This but Me - The Catch-Up Book Club discussion

What have you heard about this book? Is it the kind of book you’d pick up by yourself? What are you hoping to discover?

I read this several times as a teen and young adult, and all the 'companion' books, too. I will try to reread it, as I do wonder if it holds up.

I've been putting this on my TBR every month but never get around to it. I'll definitely be jumping on this one :)

I read this in two days as a favor for my nephew who was supposed to read it for school and didn't want to and I remember loving it but I don't remember anything that happened.

My sister was obsessed with this book in high school. I look forward to learning what was so captivating!

I read this book earlier this year as a group read and awarded it 5 stars. Hope you all also enjoy it.

It has been a long time since I participated in this group! I've had this on my TBR list, so I think it might be time to join in. I was surprised to see it on my list as I honestly don't recall ever hearing about it. Nevertheless, I look forward to jumping in.

Well, to be fair, there are certain elements that appeal especially to high school girls, of course. (not a spoiler, just look at the covers... ;)

I will try to return something to the library so I can acquire this one. (My library has a STRICT quantity limit, and I am currently at quantity.)

I read this in high school and then again about 2 years ago with a 50 year anniversary edition 💜 I’m going to read the November’s classic instead, but I hope everyone enjoys this one; it’s so good!

I read this book back in the 7th grade and remember really liking it. I’ve had a copy of it in my bookshelf for ages now with the intention of rereading it someday (I remember next to nothing about the storyline) but found myself never really gravitating towards it.. so I am really pleased that this is the BOTM :)

I read this book mant years ago. I am looking forward to reading this book through an adult perspective.

How did I miss reading this one in my youth? Guess it just slipped through the cracks. Hope it's not too sappy.

Sappy? Not sure what you mean by that, but I sure don't think that word applies here.

I also missed this one somehow. I guess I was too busy in high school! I am about one chapter in so far.

I never had to read this book in school & never heard of it until a few years ago. I worked at a school where they read it in class & I saw a part of the movie, but other than that I do not know much about what happens. I started reading this book today & so far I'm enjoying the story. I can't believe the author started writing it at 15!

I forgot to add that I'm about halfway through!
