I've actually had this on my tbr since it was announced since I enjoyed The Night Circus so much more than I expected to. I hope this one holds up as well.

This will be my first Erin Morgenstern book. I've had The Night Circus on my tbr list for years, so I hope it will be picked for January.

I've always wanted to read the Night circus but I never got around to read it. I didn't even know this book existed, but I am excited for it, because if I like it, I will probably pick up Night circus after this!

I read Night Circus a few years ago and I liked it well enough, I don’t know if I felt like it was worth all the hype. I’m hoping this one connects better for me!

I totally agree with Nora. I, too, have had Night Circus on my TBR pile for years but never gotten around to it. I hadn't heard of this one, but I'm looking forward to reading it as an introduction to Erin Morgenstern.

Ooh! This will be my first book to join in on! I got a few chapters in and shelved it but have been thinking of picking it up again! I'm excited :)

Only a couple of chapters in and I can already tell I’m not gonna be able to put the book down - excited for this one!

I didn't much care for Night Circus but am willing to try this. My pre-reading thought is that it's a pretty big book....

I will be joining, because I have had this book on my shelf for a year. It’s finally time to pick this up! I am excited , because it seems to be a bookish book.

I’m glad a book that I’m reading coincides with one of the group books. I’m forever trying to catch up with my unread books that I hardly manage to read alongside the group. I really enjoyed Night Circus, so I’m hoping this one will be just as good.

Is anybody else listening to the audio version of this book? The long chapter format is driving me crazy! So hard to keep track of start/stop points. Anyway - small complaint. I’m really starting to enjoy it this go-round. Feels kind of like untangling a web.

So, this is going to be interesting. I wasn't planning to actually read two books for the month of December (usually I just pick the classic of the month and read that one); however, I finished the Dickens book early and decided to give this book a try.

So far, I am only a few chapters into it, but it's a very interesting concept! I think that I will enjoy reading this book! This is my first time reading this book and my first experience reading a book by Erin Morgernstern.
