Kathleen (katyrw) | 9 comments I just finished my newest book, The Tenant from Hell, set in present day Saint Augustine and Helen, GA. It's a somewhat cozy mystery with a bit of paranormal thrown in. I'm wondering if I should have my characters wearing masks and social distancing or just ignore Covid. How are others dealing with this?

I would avoid themes unrelated to the core of the story. If the virus affects the story through environment or character motivations, then maybe adding it is fine. Otherwise, I would ignore it personally.

Kathleen (katyrw) | 9 comments Thanks. You back up what I am seeing in some big-name authors' books. I'm treating things as normal. Just hope they get that way soon.
