Lucky Stevens | 13 comments THE DUPLEX is a thrilling tale, set in 1950s L.A., of four gay friends who hatch a daring and highly unusual scheme to resist extreme conformity during a time of systemic governmental persecution. But their secret plan is not without its flaws, as internal struggles and terrible conflicts lead to heartbreaking lessons about the high cost of blending in—or not.

The Duplex is available on Amazon and is currently among the top 500 books in the LGBT Historical Fiction Category!

Lucky Stevens | 13 comments Hi Sharnett! Welcome aboard. Check out the Browse and Community buttons at the top of this Goodreads page. And then start exploring. You'll get the hang of it. There are all kinds of book recommendations, ratings, lists, groups...

Have fun, and if you have any questions let me know.

Enjoy,
Lucky Stevens

Sharnett the Reader (sharnett) Lucky, wow this is all overwhelming, as you can see it took me two days to realize that you responded to me lol. Thank you.
How does this book club/discussions work? How come I didn't see the notification?

Lucky Stevens | 13 comments Hi Sharnett,
Lol :)
I'm not entirely sure. I'm an author. But if you check out a club, you can always message people and hopefully they will respond. You can also post lists (Example--already taken, but: "Books that should be made into movies"...). Sometime people will respond to those. Look under "Community"--the tab at the top of this page. Click on Groups. If you find one you like, you can always send a message to people in that group. My final piece of advice--pay attn to buttons you can click, like the one below, that reads: "Notify me when people reply"--this might give you a heads up. If not, when people write to me, it will usually appear in the "bell" symbol at the top of this page, or in the "letter/mail" symbol. Hope this all helps and Good Luck.
