You have the entire month of December to compete all of the boxes....so you can open them each day and read for the tasks any time after that - no need to go in order :)

That's good to know. So far I've been okay but I have to squeeze a few review books in and they probably won't fit the winter/holiday them. Thanks for the quick response.

2020 December: The Advent Calendar
Duration:
1-31 December 2020

Progress: 6 out of 24

For each day of December leading up to Christmas, click on the link below to access the RRRC Advent Calendar and see what 'task' has been set for you! (Needless to say, there are 24 tasks hidden behind doors on the calendar.)

Advent Calendar

Some tasks involve reading but some are things for you to do at home, on GR or with us. Books can be any length - there is no page minimum. 'Tis the season' so books that fit these festivities (Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa) are the aim, but are not a rule.

Tasks can only be accessed once the day has commenced. If you miss a day, you can go backwards, but you can't see tasks ahead of you.

Tasks open at midnight of the new day in your timezone.

Don't worry if you don't finish each task each day - you have the whole of December to finish your tasks.

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I know we have a few antipodeans in the group so they would have the same in some cases, but for me that is not only now, but growing up as well!

I was lucky enough as a child to always be at the beach at Christmas - but we'd ALWAYS go for a morning surf, in our new Christmas togs (swimsuits), with our new beach toys, have a soft serve (ice cream) if we could find an open shop, then back home for the big Christmas lunch which was chicken, prawns and salad!

I know its the complete opposite for many :)

I love it - so weird for me if Christmas isn't stinking hot. I think I've only ever had one cold Christmas (in Austria I think - Salzburg)...

MountainKat | 31602 comments For me, Christmas is family and traditions! My grandma made my stocking and my kids, I carried on and made the ones for the in-laws and grandkids. We currently have twelve, though two are hidden in this picture. That is only one of the many traditions we have. And nothing is better than a White Christmas - this was last year!
