They're not common ones, if anything they have more in common with rare number limited ones so I'm going to go with no.

I do plan to be generous but don't want it to get too crazy! :P

Yes but only if the monster already gives you gold per normal dragon rules :)

Finally caught up on the October beasties -- even leveled up!
woot! (Ugh flu season and 11-13 hour pharmacy shifts--finally got a short day because they want me saturday and didn't want to pay overtime. hehe.)

Hope there's something coming to make those pesky zombies more like Paul. lol. I know three of 'em I would like to turn into librarians....

Or a permit for more squirrels because right now my option is an Armageddon level nut-pocalypse to avoid being one-shotted. *snorts*
I wish I could just throw nuts at real life problems like rude people in the pharmacy. lol.

I haven't even gotten to the zombies yet, but I'm working on the quests for weapons now.

Quick question about the Imp:

We can't hit it first 3 rounds, so any weapon we can use is out of the question (staff, sword, slingshot, arrow, Spock's weapon, ...). So much is clear. But what about a cat or a poison potion? Does it affect the imp in the first round?

Hallowe'en fun is fab! Actually got me to dust off my quest for the first time in months!

This weekend will mainly be catching up on the monsters and quests I think!

He's too quick. He'd dodge anything you tried to toss at him, even your trusty kitty. They're really rather mean little things.

to be clear: Miffy can only be used on monsters revealed after 8 Oct, not that she can be used after 8 Oct on monsters not yet killed?

I've not tackled the Imp, f'instance - can I co-opt her into that fight?

Also, if we've got Ysmay in tow too, will Ysmay heal Miffy? Would Ysmay heal both fighters each round, or just the on e who took damage?
I'm guessing defence items won't spread to Miffy?

Is there any time limit for Halloween monsters? Do we have to kill them by a certain date or are they going to be around till we kill them all?

Just noticed that the Open Market (time) restrictions were lifted only for the duration of Eisdrake battle. Kelly wouldn't you consider cancelling them for good? Please. :-)

Miffy can only be used on monsters labeled as October 8th and later.

A single round would be:
Hero attacks monster
Miffy attacks monster
Monster attacks hero

The next round would be:
Hero attacks monster
Miffy attacks monster
Monster attacks Miffy

Let's say Ysmay heals both just to be nice. Defense potions can be used on Miffy but one shield potion wouldn't cover both of you.

Potion only lasts one round. See explanation of round in the previous post. Just be sure to use the potion at the right time.

You can have Miffy and a mercenary at the same time. Miffy takes her own potions.

They'll be around forever. The ones near the end will get too hard for most (if not all depending on how mean I am) to kill right away. No time limit on getting them.

Yeah, we can cancel them for good. I'll update it in a bit.

Things that affect the monster affect the monster. So when miffy fights the monster they'll still be reduced. Anything that adds strength onto your hero would only affect your hero.

She can cheer on the sidelines but she still gets hit in the second round :) you can just choose to not have her attack if at some point in the future that is advantageous. You can also choose not to attack and have Miffy attack only. In either case the monster switches back and forth for who it hits.

And yes, she gets exp as long as she's alive at the end.

Does Miffy have a Max HP? She starts out with 2 HP. For example, can Lady Ysma increase her health to 7 HP after round 1?

Hero attacks
Miffy attacks
Monster attacks
Lady Ysma increases health by 5 for both Hero and Miffy?

Most of the time with only 2 HP, the monster will do her in before Lady Ysma can increase her health. Or can Lady Ysma increase her health by 5 HP after she's been resurrected?

Hero attacks
Miffy attacks
Monster attacks MIffy, Miffy dies
Hero brings Miffy back to life and Lady Ysma increases her health to 7 HP
