BTW Never heard of these holidays before. Do you actually celebrate them at home or at work and if so how? I'm curious. LOL!

I have a friend who celebrates all the Solstices and equinoxes. She has a site on her farm in Ontario that they chose to build a fire circle on -- only to discover that it has been used in the past by Indian tribes.

As to Happiness Day. Google had a virtual party which I missed because I was at the hairdresser. We heard about International Happiness Day over the radio on Friday. It's the first I've ever heard of it. LOL

For the A Tavern Delicacy quest you need to read a book that is banned and on this page http://www.ala.org/bbooks/frequentlyc... but does the year matter? Or can I choose anny book from anny year?

Idea was that books you sell to the caravan will be offered back next round. We are tying to build up our bookstore. :)

Trying to decide what is going to be most useful is tricky. I'm tempted to stock up on potions, but at the same time I know they will likely be available in future quests. I'm also tempted to buy the books because they're such great time savers, but I think I'll need to see the April quests before I decide that.

The question I have is a.) if there will be any other familiars in the future and b.) if you can have multiple familiars at once. It'd be kind of fun to have this huge herd of animals following you everywhere giving you added benefits, haha. However, if we're only allowed one, I might bide my time and see what's in store for the future.

As for ads, they are only there for joke and as result of me having too much time on my hands. Glad you're liking them. :)

I'm not sure if there'll be other familiars in the future. probably. Who knows what ideas Kelly has. :)
But what I'm pretty sure about is that if there are more of them and you have them all (or few at least), you'll be able to use only one each time. Just like hats.

Thanks Tea! I'm thinking I might buy the cat with the 40 gold I earned from the Midas quests (how can I not?) and then try and sell some other books to either buy the BOMs or potions. We'll see, though!

Heh. I feel like you guys think I have this all better planned out than I do :) It's like when they attribute all this complex multi-layered symbolism to books where there was probably just some guy making things up.

Those are books where there's a PART 1, PART 2, etc. type breakout where chapters are grouped. Several of our recent BOMs have had a grouping like that though I don't recall specifically which ones right now.

There are health potions there.

I've been toying with the idea of some resting full heals. (So not during battle but outside of battle the potion could be used for a full heal, maybe like a sleeping draught). There might be one for sale in the next caravan.

This is the final version for this one. The advertisements are teasers for future caravans. We're still working things out so feedback is appreciated. I am trying not to unbalance things too badly by making really awesome things only in certain areas.

Pfft. If I don't get a discount then you don't either :P I don't think I can afford the kitty either.

My intent isn't to make everything equal. There's always a best bang for your buck option and then moving down from there or choosing specifically to optimize something you want. It's up to you :)

I'm for keeping them for at least 2 months - it's quite hard to balance the regular quests with hoarding of the gold for the caravan.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of books would people want to buy and how much would they pay for them? I'm thinking of spending Monday/Tuesday listening to some short (~100 pages) audiobooks to sell in the caravan. I'm thinking that I'm going to focus on the horse quest because some people seem to be hankering for a horse, but 12 books is a lot and a book towards that total might be helpful. What do you all think?

Personally, I'm going to be in the market for a food/dog/sports book for the Spock quest. I'll probably offer 2 gold for it. I have 2 of the 3 set but I can't fit a third into all the other challenges I have going so if I can just buy one, I definitely will.

Ooh I would love to buy some books under 200 pages for my horsie!! I think that will be the hardest one for me. No idea how much they would be worth though.

I was thinking of selling five books at 3 gold, so I'd have 15 gold to buy some of the BOMs/potions.

The books I'm thinking of reading would fit the horse quests, the Spock quest, Boast the Most, the Kindness of Strangers, Everybody Lies, The Many Voices of Lady Zuzana, and Ser Amanda's Cryptic Caper.

It looks like the ones already for sale are about 1 gold per 100 pages.

We used the 1 gold per 100 pages as a guide for the BOM sales.

I'm guessing the open market will determine prices based on how rare of a book is needed.

There's some fairly specific books needed for April's quests so that may play a role in pricing too.

Yay I'm so excited for all the new updates! Yay Mods this is the most fun challenge ever. So much to plan and think about!
