Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Maybe. But I haven't started writing it yet so it depends on how soon that comes together.

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments So sorry. The way you were talking about things I assumed that you had it already planned and ready to go. No pressure, just wanting to preplan my reading.

message 1703: by Reva (new)

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments Btw, what's involved in writing questions for the BOM?

message 1704: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments You get assigned a day and a set of chapters and you read through and post questions for people to answer that day.

Some of the newer BOMs have a big description at the top with an explanation (link). You can also look at others examples.

It's ok. Some months I'm further along than other months :)

Oh no! It's that time of the month

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments *Locks Tea in the Caravan thinktank room*

We'll have to see what Karen wants her birthday quest to be. I suppose she could have a birthday caravan item instead. :P

message 1708: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments BTW I just asked Karen what she wants her quest to be so if you want to go send her chocolates to try to bribe her you can :P

I've posted here since many of the challenge ideas will appeal to hero's in Novel Kingdom. If you don't plan to join any of the team challenges please don't vote. You may read through all the descriptions without voting if you want to.

Alex | 1018 comments MULTI PLAYER RPG, HELL YES!

message 1713: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments :P Ones that get high marks but aren't chosen will stay in the pool for next time we need a new challenge. So they won't go away unless they're pretty far down in ranking.

Claire | 4251 comments Zee wrote: "MULTI PLAYER RPG, HELL YES!"

I definitely voted for that one!

message 1715: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Muhahaha.

At this point I'm leaning towards picking two to do back to back to satisfy both types of people but we'll see how the numbers shake out when it's all said and done. There's definitely different types of people/readers in the group.

message 1716: by Tia (last edited Apr 16, 2015 07:51AM) (new)

Tia (fatgirlfatbooks) The multiplayer RPG is the one I voted for as my favorite, too. Although, I have to admit that I do like the idea of individual challenges because sometimes I need a little break from teams. =p

message 1717: by Emily (new)

Emily I wish I read enough books to compete in some of these Group Challenges. They sound fun. I'm a slower reader, though, so I feel like I'd be holding my team back. I like the idea of being a minion, though. ;)

That's what I was thinking when I wrote that one. I was thinking about Everquest and when they started letting people play as the monsters in certain adventures so once in awhile you'd hit a monster with actual human intelligence.

But don't feel like you can't be a part of the others. We make the teams to balance estimated books read so no one hurts their team by reading less.

message 1719: by Tia (last edited Apr 16, 2015 09:02PM) (new)

Tia (fatgirlfatbooks) I'm only one book away from my house and four books away from my bunny! Can't wait to finish these up and then get onto planning May's quests!

message 1720: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments BTW. House will come in useful for May's quests.

message 1721: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3794 comments Sorry I know this has come up a lot, but I'm still a little confused.

Which quests can we use the "Find Items Potion" for? I'm assuming we can't use it for the house, bunny, sandwich ones. But, what about "Sir Audrey Jane Break-in" or other similar Midas quests?

message 1722: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3794 comments Also! Quest crisis fellow knights! I can't decide if I should go for the bunny or the house. Help!

Both :P

I started with horse when it came out, but now going for bunny. I need those eggs!
Speaking of bunny, any recommendations for Easter books?

Hmmm. I hadn't thought of using it for the midas quests. Let me give it a thought and I'll get back to you. I was planning on putting notes in the quests where you can use the potion.

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments RebeccaS wrote: "Also! Quest crisis fellow knights! I can't decide if I should go for the bunny or the house. Help!"

Bunny will give you rewards sooner.

There will be an addition to the house next month. I plan to leave both bunny and house quests active for a long time if that helps.

Both are equally useful. I plan on offering horse components in Reva's Caravan & Market emporium for April's Caravan. If time allows, bunny too so save up your gold! Accepting pre-orders now.

What gold? Do you take IOUs? :P

Are you going so sell eggs too? :)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments ❀Tea❀ wrote: "Are you going so sell eggs too? :) "

Pfft. The eggs rot in a week. They're a bad deal for longevity :P

And that is the reason. :) If she can use it, it gone without fulfilling its purpose.
This way she gets it and sells it immediately. I buy it and eat it. It's matter of hours, not days. And egg doesn't rot :P

I'll be in the market for a rabbit on the cover. Need some gold first though :-P

message 1732: by Reva (new)

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments My current HP is 8. It was 2 two weeks ago. When I get to full HP. I attack something so I'll never rot any eggs. :-)

Sorry, didn't think eggs were for sale anyway. But books, I'll have lots of books.

Frankly, I thought that the Find items potions' attractiveness was in its ability to really cut down on a lengthy quest. Since there's only one, there'll still be plenty of quests throughout the year where people will still have to complete 100% of the requirements.

I think you're being a bit restrictive as to where it can be used Kelly. Particularly for those readers who don't read as much as others.

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments Mary wrote: "I didn't do all of march's Midas quests are those still open?"

I dont believe that there were any stated time limits except for those quests which were expiring.

message 1737: by Mary (new)

Mary (wimew) | 397 comments I was only asking because it's a different type of quest

message 1738: by Reva (new)

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments I personally put a priority on the MIDAS QUESTS in order to have as much gold available for buying the really unusual items like the Familiar.

When we make a thread you say you want to do DQs. Then you'll get a date and part and read :)

They randomize volunteers 3 days before the book is scheduled to start if there's more volunteers than question days.
