For the spell-it-out option when stuck on a task - is it one letter for the stuck task, or do we have to spell out the whole word for the task we're stuck on, which seems like a lot so I'm hoping it means the former!

Not for the first spell. The rest will be noted on the Reporting thread's post. I'll be putting your first spell on your thread right now.

* Is there a list of books that we can choose from OR is the book (or are the books) that we are suppose to read listed in the spell, charm, or curse?

Oh, and do we have to do all of the tasks of is the challenge that we pick ONE task and hope that our task is more points than our partner's task?

Yes, you do the same spell.

No, you won't know the tasks before you ask for the spell, but the 5th task will always be "5. read a book with Fantasy, Paranormal or Supernatural on the book's main page".

You can find your own book to read that will fit one of the tasks.

You only need to do one task each. I will randomly assign points to the five tasks after you post your report and add the totals to Message 3 on your thread.

I think I follow the general idea of what we're doing, but not clear on the HOGWARTS spell out listed at the top of our thread. Is that for when we get stuck on specific tasks? Instead, get a title or author that works for one of the letters in HOGWARTS?

You can use a book that you are already reading, but for this first time, you cannot finished the book until when the challenge begins, December 1.

Yes, if you can't find a book for any of the 5 tasks, you can read a book whose title or author's first or last name begins with a letter in HOGWARTS.

You had put on the sign-up thread that the game didn't start until December 1st but you could have started your book beforehand just not finished it. So does that mean we're only going by the date finished reading and not the date started for all tasks or just the first one?

Yes, you can begin your book before the tasks are posted on your thread.

Two, you wait until someone signs up with the same speed level as you.
Three, I send out a message to all the members asking for sign-ups and you'll be assign one of those.
