So, yes, I've decided to open these. I'm not trying to replace Bella or anything, it's that a) having an odd number of moderators annoys me a lot and b) we just need another mod, okay?

Here are your questions! I am going to look for detailed answers.


Why do you want to be a mod?

Have you ever modded any other groups? Please list them.

How good are you with the technical stuff of Goodreads? Making polls and topics, HTML, images, broadcasting messages, etc..

If two people are arguing, what do you do?

What ideas do you have for the group? Organization, arena ideas, etc..

If two people are arguing, what do you do? I try to peacefully work it out with those people.

What ideas do you have for the group? Organization, arena ideas, etc.. I've got lots of different ideas for arenas and how to organize things in folders and yada yada yada... I'll save that for if I become a moderator. :)

Have you ever been banned from a group? No.

And lastly, why should I make you a moderator? Because I love how this group is going and I love to help out and am a good leader and organizer. I really hope you'll consider me!

I'm good with HTML and images, I've covered mod duties before in different types of groups, and I know how to do most of that stuff. I'm technologically challenged, but I know how GR works.

If two people are arguing, what do you do?
Well, you've seen me arguing. But if it's two others and I'm the mod, I would try to stay impartial and stop the argument, either by freezing the topic or by PMing them both.

What ideas do you have for the group? Organization, arena ideas, etc..
A lot. I have a lot of unformed arena ideas and plots, most of which I either don't want to list (because ~suspense~) or I just haven't thought out yet (because brainpower)

I think I have like...two that are finished, and three in progress.

Have you ever been banned from a group?
the now-deleted Young Patriots Group, aka the predecessor to the Political Debate Group (those homophobes were asking for it, so I gave it. and then they kicked me out. No regrets.)

Against my better judgement, here’s a mod application. Oh man, I hate this. I just don’t like competing to be mod, so don’t expect me to ever do it again. Why do you want to be a mod?
- Well, the biggest reason is because I miss being a mod and scheming with y’all in the other group. That was sooo fun — well until all that stuff happened... But I guess I just really, really want to do it again? Idk...

- Uh... That’s gonna take a while... Mind if I just skip this one? You know me pretty well. XD

- I’d like to say I’m pretty good, but there’s definitely better people out there. I know how to do all those things tho, and I’m semi-good at editing photos and stuff.

If two people are arguing, what do you do?
- Lock the topic and hide under my bed, avoiding everybody. XD Jk! I’d probably try to smooth things out, and if that didn’t happen, then I’d shut the topic to let them cool off a bit so they can talk it over better. Actually, it’s hard to tell what I’d really do...

What ideas do you have for the group? Organization, arena ideas, etc.
- Organization is definitely my thing, and mutts are pretty fun, too. XD I’ve never been good at dramatically dangerous arenas, but I love planning out events and OrGaNiZiNg. XD

- Yep! An idiot, a maniac, and an adorable oh-my-goodness-please-don’t-kill-me! :D

- Actually, yes. It was a joke tho! XD I sorta spammed a little too much...

And lastly, why should I make you a moderator?

It always sounds like, “you should choose me because I’m the best,” or “because I’ll bring the best assets to the group,” but the truth is, I know I won’t. There’s probably a ton of other people in this group who could do a better job at it than me. So I’m just gonna leave this thing “blank.” (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
