Yep! Reaper is a reread! I'm so hyped for A Sky Beyond the Storm that I will be majorly disappointed if it does live up to my expectations. I don't anticipate many books. I just want everyone to come out alive but knowing Sabaa's sadistic tendencies towards them, we'll have to see!

Ahhh Ashmita and Eryn... I have yet to read An Ember in the Ashes I am ashamed to say! But I managed to snag the first book from the library last week so hopefully, I can get to it soon... I'm so heartened you both love it!

For sure! I'm currently 20 pages in Soothsayer and the only thing I have qualms about is the writing. I can't really say much else as I'm not that far in but I'll definitely let you know!

Yeah. A Gentleman in Moscow hasn't hooked me yet. I'm giving it to a page 150. If it hasn't hooked me then I might just DNF. :(

Ember is definitely worth the read! At first I only gave it three stars but then upon reread (when I didn't have to read it for a school project) I enjoyed it more immensely!

um...I don't think so. If you check the polls, then you will see that 42% of the people have voted for "set fire to the gods". So, if that doesn't change, then we will be reading that. And don't worry if you don't have the book....we will send you a digital copy! :)

If anyone requires the book - "Set Fire to the Gods", please respond here along with your email address. We will be more than happy to share with you a digital copy (ePub or PDF) of the book ( on the grounds that you don't sell it anywhere.😅 We don't want to go to prison really.😅)

Cheers,
Cherelle and Ashmita

I am LOVING THEM!!! I am almost done with Winter and am half excited to know how it ends and half sad that I'm soon to leave the world of the crew I've grown to love.

I read the Lunar Chronicles earlier this year, however I learned I'm into more action filled books than they were.
(Sorry for popping in, I'm bored and don't want to watch TV right now so in figured I'd actually comment on the group I was really exited to join... XD)

Please don't be sorry. You can comment here as many times as you want, whenever you want. I like action filled books too. Maybe you should try reading Sarah J mass's books. She writes amazing action scenes (which can get too bloody....and I love it!) You can try reading spy books too! I was obsessed with them once upon a time. 😅

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

@Ashmita
Okay. Thanks...
I've tried Throne Of Glass, but it felt... Erratic? Like the writing and pacing felt off. And there was a lot of telling instead of showing, I never actually got to "see" the main character (can't remember her name) do any cool stuff, we were just told she did... So yeah I only made it half way through. And I haven't picked up any of her other books, because they're more popular and I don't wanna piss anybody off. XD I don't think I've tried spy books very much, the closest I've gotten is Six Of Crows I think. I've never found any spy books that caught my attention, I think that they're not what's super popular right now? Fairytale retellings are super hype, so I've seen a lot of those books come out recently. ((Example: The Inheritance Games, Cinderella Is Dead, Ect. I've also heard there's two new Peter Pan retelling coming out sometime soonish. Dunno their reptiles though. My friends (can I call them friends? I mean I think we're friends? XD) were talking about them, so that's cool.)) But yeah, haven't found any of those that sounded cool. Actually, haven't found any of those, period... Hunh...
Okay, I'll stop. XD

No worries! everyone has different opinions about books so yeah. And as far as "showing" involves - there was a lot of "showing". I am sorry that it wasn't up to your standards.
