Can't wait to see your reads!

Susy | 44 comments December has been an off month, but I am currently at 284. I have started way too many books and then set them aside as they won't hold my interest.

I really am not interested in TV or movies, so that leaves reading. I read a couple of periodicals and lots of books. I have always said that I could cope if I lost my hearing, but losing my sight would be heartbreaking.

Stefanie | 77 comments Good luck, Susy! I look forward to seeing what you read. :)

Susy | 44 comments Looks like I will make 290 this year but definitely not the 300 I was hoping for.

Susy | 44 comments I just added the new books I want to read in 2021 to Goodreads. There are already 50, so if I add others that come up over the course of the year, the challenge should be easy. I am going for option B, but we will see how my reading fits with option A.

message 11: by Susy (last edited Mar 09, 2021 11:14AM) (new)

Susy | 44 comments Since I am retired, don't watch much TV and the pandemic keeps me at home, I have lots of time to read. This is especially true since my husband is also a big reader (which is, in part, how we met).
I have several favorites that I buy as soon as they come out, even in hardback. Top of my list is Kate Carlisle and Jenn McKinlay. I also love Ellie Alexander, Donna Andrews, Winnie Archer, Bree Baker, Kathleen Bridge, Ellen Byron, Laurie Cass, Nancy Coco, Krista Davis, Maddy Day, Vicki Delany, Jana DeLeon, Amanda Flower, Eva Gates and Carol Perry. There are many more, but that is a good start

I read only. I have never developed a fondness for audio books. I prefer to read print books, but have the Kindle app on several devices so that I can have a book with me all the time.

I have so many favorites, that it would be hard to narrow down the list. If you see an author listed 3 or more times above, you can be sure I like their books. Right now I am reading the latest by Leigh Perry. I read my first book by her last summer and have read them all and been waiting impatiently for the one I am reading now (it arrived from Amazon last night).
