1. Give an audiobook a chance. DONE and I like it more that I thought I would.
2. Always have a library hold. DONE It was a little frustrating when I had 3 or 4 available at once but I mostly had a list on hold.
3. Read at least 6 classics. At least one of them should be something like Dante, Plato, or Homer. DONE The Quiet American, Three Men in a Boat, Oedipus Rex, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Animal Farm
4. Read a 'themed' book at least 6 times this year. DONE I did at least 10.
5. Convince someone in my life to read a book I'm reading/just read. DONE Sleeping Giants and Surviving Savannah,
6. Don't leave the house without a book. DONE
7. Learn those words I don't know. DONE but I could do more...I lose track of some from library lends.
8. I have 2 Ken Follett series to finish. The Evening and the Morning #4 (final) in Kingsbridge series, Edge of Eternity #3 (final) in Century Trilogy HALF done, I only finished Edge of Eternity.
9. Read 12 non-fiction books. DONE 59.
10. Read 25 books. DONE 100 and likely to do 107 by end of year

I can completely understand and relate to this. I went through several years when my girls were young where I hardly read at all. I'm sure there were a couple of years in there where I didn't finish a single book. I was always too busy or tired to engage with it. Eventually that passed though and I've been reading more than ever. You will do it, Julia!
