Kathryne Baldwin | 3 comments I have, to date, not considered myself a fan of romance novels. But, of late, I picked up a very popular paranormal romance series (which shall remain nameless but did result in a popular HBO series starring Anna Paquin) and started eating them up. I found the end of the series...ungratifying. I'm not looking for a bargain-bin paperback romance novel (nothing against the bargain bin, there are some real gems in there), but, a gratifying love story that ends with the protagonists getting together and a grown-up happily ever after. Basically, something to wash the taste of that last series out of my mouth.

Would appreciate all thoughts and input! :)

Salma | 68 comments I'm not a huge romance reader, but I read a Nora Roberts novel called Carolina Moon years ago that I would easily put down as a favorite. Don't know if she's considered bargain-bin though...
