I wondered about that. I figure people can just use a highlighter directly on their screen. That totally wipes off, right?

I didn't try this, but how about an ipad and an apple pencil?

I did save the images to try something like this (no apple pencil but a finger works). But it was difficult to have lookup list elsewhere. It would still work but would need more concentration than I have been able to devote to much of anything but work lately. Work is kicking my butt.

I'm sure Trike won't mind. Here is a single image with both word grid and word list that will work on an iPad

Typing on a grid In iPad Pages, then copying it to Notes, selecting monospaced. Double checked letter placement by going top-to-bottom, left-to-right, then bottom-to-top starting in the lower right-hand corner.

It’s artisanal.

message 35: by Maclurker (new)

Maclurker | 140 comments I need some help here.

One of the names to be found is "Julie E. CzernEda". After several careful searches, I simply cannot find that name. However I did find "Julie E. CzernAda". Is this a typo? Or another of Trike's fiendish mis-directions?

What am I missing?

uh oh, I found "Julie E. CzernAda" and missed that the clue is "Julie E. CzernEda"

message 37: by Trike (new)

Trike | 11197 comments I probably made a mistake, in a subconscious effort to prove I’m not an AI.

I kept trying to write “Raymond J. Feist” instead of “Raymond E. Feist”, and I have no idea why. Screwing up Czerneda proves I have an inherent bias against the letter E.

Mea culpa.

message 38: by Mark (new)

Mark (markmtz) | 2822 comments It's ok. E is the letter of tolerance.
