I did and loved the humour. I was also reminded at the progress made by medical science over the past 100 years. I am one of those people who need oxygen and adrenaline and a hospital when I am stung by a bee, but it was death for many people not that long ago (and still for those who do not have easy access to medical care). I'm not too concerned about historical accuracy and really enjoyed the characters and dialogue. The end dragged a bit, but overall I am glad I took the plunge. I'm going to read The Duke and I when I get a chance.

I enjoyed it a lot! I can't wait to read the next one and see what happens with Colin. Well I hope the next one is about Colin. I also wonder if we will find out who lady Whistledown is at some point.

I'd love to know who Lady Whistledown is, but I suspect that may wait until book 8 or 9.

I started watching Bridgerton last night. I was a bit put off because the events are about book 1 and 4, so I don't want to be spoiled. I started book 3 right away and will only watch the rest after book 4.
