Badseedgirl | 1033 comments I've committed to reading a short story a week off the Tor.com website. There are over 400 free ones listed there now, so I should be good for a couple years if I read one a week. My Bookshelf is labeled Short Story 2021

Where does everyone else like to get their short story fix from?

Badseedgirl | 1033 comments So far I have read:

If You Were a Dinosaur, My Love by Rachel Swirsky. I did not realize this was one of the works cited by the "Sad/RabidPuppies" for their creation. They were damn fools.

Canavan | 600 comments Badseedgirl said (in part): If You Were a Dinosaur, My Love by Rachel Swirsky. I did not realize this was one of the works cited by the "Sad/RabidPuppies" for their creation.

I am familiar with Rachel Swirsky, but have not read this particular story. I may have it in one of my anthologies that are laying around in untidy heaps. The Sad/Rabid Puppies movement was, in my opinion, pretty disturbing, especially at the height of its influence during the campaign of 2015.

You can read/listen to it here.
It's short but so well written.
And yes, they were a very upsetting group.
