Morgan and Lance escape Sheriff King but faced a harrowing journey through the woods. Your thoughts about these scenes? Were you prepared for King’s suicide?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I didn't know if Morgan and Lance would be able to get away from King on their own since they had no coats, were handcuffed, and were not used to the rugged terrain. I assumed Lincoln would be the person to rescue them. I didn't know what King would do, but suicide makes sense for his character.

These scenes frightened me. It was even worse on audio because the narrator changed her voice to reflect Lance’s pain and Morgan’s discomfort from the cold. I was impressed at how well they worked together but they were in serious trouble.

While King’s suicide made sense, it still caught me off guard. But, that’s the way of a bully. Too cowardly to face the people he’d duped and done wrong. He would have been a law enforcement nightmare.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Usually when they find that someone in law enforcement has broken the law or made false arrests, they will start taking a look at his previous cases. That could lead to a lot of law suits that Morgan could handle on behalf of the defendants.

That’s going to be a nightmare.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1810 comments No, I wasn't surprised at his suicide. He knew that he was done for when the state police became involved and he would not have done well in prison.
