Does 29th change anything for you?

Yes, I meant March 29. So, I think we have a date. Any one else would like to join us?

What's the pitch for Velocity Weapon?
Melanie and I will read Potiki for the Amazin' Eights Challenge in April (starting around April 10), whoever likes to join is invited, wheter you participate in the challenge or not!

Murderbot #6, Fugitive Telemetry, will be out at the 27th. Is anybody up for a buddy read? Either the 27th or some time in May (so everybody has a chance to get the book) would be fine with me.

I'll be up for it because I'm reading the whole series this year, but I def won't be ready by the 27th. I'm booked up through maybe the 20th and then I still have to read books 3-5.
May for sure though.
There is technically already a topic up for the series as a whole, but it's dead af and the only person who's posted in it since October was me in January.
Then let's revive the thread with Fugitive Telemetry! :D How about May 11th? That's two weeks after the release date, so most of us should have a chance to get the book by then.

Promises, promises ....
And thank-you.

I would like to join for Wild Seed, I have the book already. Any time that is good!
So ... what's our date going to be? Do we have more votes for the 27th or more for May 11th? I don't mind either way.

Is anyone interested in reading SALT HOUSES by Hala Alyan? It's historical fiction and I've been told it's not a disguise for a romance,
Saar we did a buddy read (and a group read) of Gardens a couple years ago! Feel free at least to add to the discussion :)

Okay, thanks, Allison.

The Malazan series is on my TBR list for a long time. I've read "Gardens of the Moon" years ago, so I was going to reread it. I would love to read the series with you if you agree to wait for me a little. I have my reading schedule packed right now, so to be realistic, I could start at the end of May.

You want to do a reread?

At the end of May is perfect. I've got some books listed for now to read.

no, I'm pretty much booked up for the rest of this year - I might comment in the thread and will read it, but I'm not up for reading it a third time

Great! Anyone want to join us? I know it's a big reading project but I'm sure there is someone who has started the series and didnt finish ;)

Everything was well thought of and that made the book such a good read. It is a book about epic fantasy, but it has been a while since I've read one that was that good.

No problem, I totally understand that :)

Do I need to make a BR - thread? It's my first BR here in the group and I'm a bit unsure on how it works.

You can discuss the first book in the official first/final group threads, and the rest of the series in the series thread with spoiler tags. Or the entire series in the series thread, it looks like it's a bit of a monster anyway.

Are you ok with starting at the end of May?

I think it's a good idea to start in "Gardens of the Moon" thread. It's a long series so it will be easier to start there. It gives a chance to join us just for the first book for people who want to see if they want to read the series.
Should we decide on the precise date, Anna? Or "the end of May" can pass as the starting point ;)
