Oh whoops. You meant 29 March, right? In that case, no that doesn’t help much. I doubt I’ll want to go straight from Obelisk Gate to the Stone Sky, which is what that would mean. But again, don’t let me stop you. I can necropost.

Murderbot #6, Fugitive Telemetry, will be out at the 27th. Is anybody up for a buddy read? Either the 27th or some time in May (so everybody has a chance to get the book) would be fine with me.

I'll be up for it because I'm reading the whole series this year, but I def won't be ready by the 27th. I'm booked up through maybe the 20th and then I still have to read books 3-5.

There is technically already a topic up for the series as a whole, but it's dead af and the only person who's posted in it since October was me in January.

Hmm... I was going to read Murderbot series this year. I've bought the series on sale some time ago, so I could start after finishing the books I'm currently reading. I suppose there is a chance I'll be on track by May 11 and give some love to the Murderbot thread on the way. There is a preorder for "Fugitive Telemetry" in IBooks so I can get it anytime.

I will eagerly join the Fugitive Telemetry entourage :)

I'll edit the start date in the thread title and BR list once you've settled on it. I'll be reading it on pub day, and I don't think I'll be the only one, so expect to see some quote spam on April 27th :)

The Malazan series is on my TBR list for a long time. I've read "Gardens of the Moon" years ago, so I was going to reread it. I would love to read the series with you if you agree to wait for me a little. I have my reading schedule packed right now, so to be realistic, I could start at the end of May.

What I remember was when finishing the book years ago was, all I can say , is 'wauw'! The fights (certanly at the end!), the magic, the characters...
Everything was well thought of and that made the book such a good read. It is a book about epic fantasy, but it has been a while since I've read one that was that good.

You can discuss the first book in the official first/final group threads, and the rest of the series in the series thread with spoiler tags. Or the entire series in the series thread, it looks like it's a bit of a monster anyway.

I think it's a good idea to start in "Gardens of the Moon" thread. It's a long series so it will be easier to start there. It gives a chance to join us just for the first book for people who want to see if they want to read the series.

Should we decide on the precise date, Anna? Or "the end of May" can pass as the starting point ;)
