PattyMacDotComma | 813 comments A good read! Bitter Wash Road is the first of a series about a rural Aussie copshop run by a 'disgraced' ex-detective. (Moral: never ever rat on crooked cops.) Add me to the list of Garry Disher's fans!

Thanks Brenda, for the review of Willow Wren. As someone who loves historical fiction, with complex child heroes, I'll definitely look out for it. And sorry, btw, that The Night Whistler is so expensive on Kindle. I believe it's much cheaper on Amazon. But perhaps Andy thought it was self-published? With a traditional publisher, they set the price, not the author, as you know.

message 396: by Andy (new)

Andy (andymc) Thanks Greg,
Interesting that the publisher has nearly double the price on Kobo. As a regular purchaser of Kobo and Kindle ebooks I have found them to generally be similar priced. Is this a brave new world I wonder. Would hate to see a monopoly distributer.
I believe authors should be fairly paid for their work and am happy to purchase my books.

You're welcome Greg. I'm sure you would enjoy this one then. It's published 23rd March, so you could pre order now (if you were going that way) or order it through your library.
