Sarah | 1543 comments My review of Ellery A. Kane's new release, Her Perfect Bones (Rockwell & Decker #2). This was a well-plotted mystery-thriller straddling the police procedural and psychological sub-genres. Set in picturesque northern coastal California.

Kobayashi says we must inspire the children!

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments Heartstone is the fourth in the excellent Matthew Shardlake historical mystery series set in King Henry VIII's very bloody England. Author C.J. Sansom seems to know his stuff (excuse the academic terminology) about the wars of the time.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments In Stealing Time, Aussie author Rebecca Bowyer has created a future Australia that's intriguing, but not one I'd want to live in, although, oops, I'm over 65 so I wouldn't. Certainly thought-provoking speculative fiction. Out 23rd March
