MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments Here's my review for an excellent psychological mystery, The Guest List by English author Lucy Foley.

For Aussie Readers who are participating in the April Challenge, if you are looking for a book set on an island, this would be a good choice.

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments I am curretnly reading The Loudness of Unsaid Things by Hilde Hinton the debut novel by Australian Hilde Hinton

While it is beautifully written and full of small details that make it feel realistically vivid.... I am on page 118 and there does not seem to be any plot or story arc. That, when combined with the extraordinarily acute detachment of the narrative makes me unable to read for more than a few pages at a time. It is most odd.

Most people who read it seemed to LOVE it, I may just not have been in the right space for it.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I'm ashamed to say I have had the second book in Robert Pobi's Lucas Page series sitting on my NetGalley list for eight months. But having read book #1, I've now read #2, Under Pressure, and I do hope the author has more books in mind for this cast of characters. Very entertaining.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I love Lost Property, a truly accomplished debut novel by British author, Helen Paris, so much that I have used far too many words in my review. I love this as much as Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, almost as much as The Dictionary of Lost Words.
