Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Australian author, Emily Maguire's sixth novel, Love Objects is an insightful look at hoarding behaviour and the stigma that can attach to youthful indiscretions.

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments Graham Brack is a favourite author of mine. The Vanishing Children is the latest Master Mercurius mystery set in the Netherlands in the 17th century. I'm very fond of this gentle, witty cleric whom William of Orange keeps dragging away from his comfortable university post to work for him. History, mystery, and humour - love it!

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments Based on a real event in Poland in 1941, Winter Journey by Aussie author Diane Armstrong is a reminder of what we are capable of, both good and bad.

Andrea | 2164 comments While I didn't love The Last Thing to Burn as much as Will Dean's phenomenal Tuva Moodyson series, I still thought it was good and showed off his skill as a writer.

And I've just seen Tuva will be having a new adventure later this year!! Bad Apples Yay

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments I admit I really dragged the chain on this one, but I wanted to read the two previously published books in Alice Hoffman's Practical Magic series first. I really enjoyed Magic Lessons and am looking forward to the final volume, The Book of Magic.
5★s for this one.
