Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments A Glasshouse of Stars is first-generation Shirley Marr's second novel for children, but it's a topical and important read for all ages.

Carolyn | 9840 comments I Don't Forgive You by Aggie Blum Thompson I Don't Forgive You by Aggie Blum Thompson is a page turner of a read about a young mother whose life falls apart when she is framed for a murder via fake social media

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments The Last Reunion by Aussie Kayte Nunn is historical fiction with a war story (Burma), romance, and mystery (stolen works of art).

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments I loved Aussie author Garry Disher's country cop mystery in the dry, dusty (dangerous) outback of South Australia. Peace is the 2nd book featuring demoted cop Hirsch. The powers-that-be did not appreciate his whistle-blowing.
Peace (Paul Hirschhausen #2) by Garry Disher 4.5~5★ Link to my review of Peace

Andrea | 2164 comments I've found a new series to get excited about! Although The Dead Line is book #2, I had no trouble reading and enjoying it as my introduction to investigative journalist Casey Benedict. I gave it 4.5★

Sarah | 1543 comments Two non-fiction reviews today, just to mix it up a bit!
Firstly, my review of Blood in the Water: A True Story of Revenge in the Maritimes by Silver Donald Cameron. It's a fascinating account of a controversial crime that occurred in Nova Scotia, Canada in 2013. And it's recommended by Margaret Atwood!

Secondly, my rather extended review (I got a bit over-excited in the middle of the night!) of the revised edition of Shakespeare's Gardens by Jackie Bennett, a really interesting (and beautifully illustrated) account of the gardens associated with William Shakespeare, and the ways that plants and gardens influenced his works.

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments Blacktop Wasteland is where author S.A. Cosby's Beauregard 'Bug' Montage earned his reputation as a high-speed wheelman and risks everything for one last job. Promise. Yeah, right.
