MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders won the Man Booker Prize a few years ago. I'd heard it was a very unusual style of novel, and was interested to find out more about it. That's for sure. Not to every reader's tastes, but for me it was intriguing.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Any Garry Disher book is always a winner with me, and I already knew that #9 in his Wyatt series, Kill Shot: A Wyatt Thriller was an excellent read, but Dorje Swallow has the perfect voice and cadence for these characters. The audio version gets 5★s

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments For me, any book in Elly Griffiths Ruth Galloway series is a guaranteed good read, so I was sure I would enjoy The Night Hawks, and I wasn't disappointed. More of Ruth, Nelson and co is always welcome!
