The Soulmate Equation The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren"

Good review, might have to give it a read. Sounds like fun but could easily be disappointing. Not sure that we are anything like being able to find a 98% match on today's technology given our knowledge of genetics, methylation (switching genes on and off) and nature / nurture issues. That said, some aspects of DNA matching are likely real observations.

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments As part of the recent readathon, and also my annual read around Australia challenge, I have finished A Scandal In Bohemia by Gideon Haigh by Gideon Haigh
which made a great companion read to The Portrait of Molly Dean (Alex Clayton Art Mystery #1) by Katherine Kovacic .

The true story, the real facts, and the great description of 1930's Melbourne made it a four star read, easily.

Sarah | 1543 comments My review of Girl, 11 by Amy Suiter Clarke - a gripping thriller based around a true crime podcast. (I reviewed both hardcover and paperback editions for HMHCo and Pushkin Vertigo respectively.) I've recorded this as an AA as, while the author is US-born, she currently works as a university librarian in Melbourne!

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Still by Aussie actor, screenwriter and author, Matt Nable, is an impressive read. I did spot a few anachronisms, but perhaps they would only stand out to someone of my vintage; if you're born in 1972 and set your novel in 1963, that can probably only be avoided by asking someone older for an opinion.

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments I loved An Imaginary Life by acclaimed Aussie author David Malouf. What a strange and fascinating life he's dreamed up for the exiled Roman poet Ovid, banished forever to a remote village with primitive customs (and no common language).
