Anita | 57 comments 'Fancy Meeting You Here' is a sweet and entertaining rom-com giving it's main character the chance to rewrite her history. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I absolutely loved the first novel Ken Saunders wrote, 2028, so I was thrilled to get a copy of his second novel. This time it's an autobiography, but no ordinary one: Get With the Program: An AI Autobiography is often insightful and always hugely entertaining.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments American author Alafair Burke's latest stand-alone, The Girl She Was, also titled Find Me, which does feature NYPD detective Ellie Hatcher, will have the reader about-facing on a certain character so many times, it might be wise to pre-book a chiropractic appointment. Gripping from page one, out January 13th.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I don't usually expected to be educated by children's books, but Favel Parrett certainly taught me quite a bit about dingoes in her first children's book, Wandi.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments I'm a big fan of Aussie author Jack Heath's Timothy Blake series, and eager for #4, but meanwhile, I've thoroughly enjoyed his new stand-alone, Kill Your Brother. Just as dark, just as action-packed, and with the same black humour as his earlier books.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Since I received Addition (a much appreciated gift from a friend), anything written by Toni Jordan automatically goes onto my TBR. I was thrilled to have an early copy of her latest, Dinner with the Schnabels (out end March 2022) and can say that it is an unalloyed pleasure to read.

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments This may help people approach challenging holiday conversations.

The graphic publication The Pronoun Book, by Cassandra Jules Corrigan tries to explain how people choose to identify themselves and how we should refer to them and each other.

Bi, non-binary, trans, other gender issues are here. It's certainly a tricky business, and this is one place to start to understand it.
